I’ve always loved working with pops of color! I just started another HUGE portrait with some color isolation and I can’t wait to share some sneak peeks with you all.
This is what my sister and I do on nice spring days - sidewalk art with soft pastels - It’s messy and beautiful and way too much fun!
Day 366 - The last card of my 366 Project! I can’t believe it. Thank you ALL so much for sticking with me, encouraging me, and helping me raise money for a very much needed Safehouse. The project goes on in 2013 with more cards, so stay tuned!

I needed a happy mountain landscape today. The wildfire close to my hometown really took off in the heat today. 102 degrees, high wind and severe drought in my area. It’s burned over 75,537 acres. And just under 200 families have lost their homes. We’re all praying for rain here!

I was talking about planting flowers this morning and remembered these cute little yellow daisy bushes we used to have in our front yard a few years back. They didn’t quite make it. So I drew them instead. :P
